Accommodations

We have reserved a block of rooms in the Radisson Waikiki Prince Kuhio Hotel at $85 per room (mountain view) and at $99 per room (ocean view) plus tax, single or double occupancy. The tax is 11.416%. The rooms contain either a king size bed or two full size beds. The hotel charges $25 per person beyond two. The accommodations are suitable for one or two persons, a couple and a child, or a couple and two children provided that the children can share a bed.

The hotel and the rooms are very nice and the view on either side is spectacular. Please make reservations directly with the hotel mentioning the group name "Second Honolulu Conference on Abelian Groups and Modules". The special rate (less than half of list) is extended to you if you arrive up to three days before or stay up to three days beyond the meeting dates. (Perhaps this is flexible, but I would have to check it out.) If your needs are not served by these arrangements, please let me know as soon as possible and I will try to find something suitable for you. In particular, anybody planning to stay three weeks or longer may be better served by renting a vacation apartment.

Dormitory style accommodations in the Hale Manoa of the East West Center could not be secured, so the best bet for those with limited means is to find a partner and share a room in the Radisson Waikiki.
