The information on this page is relevant only for Math 253 taught by Prof. Guentner.

If you are in Math 243 or 244 you may still find the page useful although dates and homework assignments differ somewhat for your course..

Course Syllabus

The course is a continuation of Math 242A/252. The topics are differential and integral calculus of two and three variables, culminating with Green's Theorem, Stokes' Theorem and the Divergence Theorem. These generalizations of the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus (which you all remember from M241!?) are really the heart of the course.

The pace of the course will be brutal; we will have to maintain a rate of at least one section per class period in order to cover the material.

- Do problems 7,9,11,15,17,18,19,35 from Section 11.1; also the hand-written extra problem
