Course Syllabus

The material covered in Math 242 and Math 252A is the same (although we may insert some additional topics at the end of the semester). The primary difference is the level of sophistication; in Math 252A we will place more emphasis on mathematically precise definitions and proofs.

  • Read Sections 1.1 & 1.2. Reading ahead is a good idea.
