A wedding is scheduled on the beaches of Malaekahana at Five o'clock in the afternoon on May 27, 2006 for Ellen Corinne Jacobson and Ryan Neal Smith. We have started this web site to give you information about the wedding and the surrounding area. The main picture above shows Malaekahana beach on the northeast shore of Oahu, Hawaii. The surrounding images are some of the memories Ellen & Ryan have shared so far...

Accommodations - The wedding will be held at a Malaekahana beach house on the North East Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. This location is roughly a 1 to 1.5 hour drive from Honolulu and Waikiki, 15 minutes from Turtle Bay Resort. Aside from Turtle Bay Resort and other Malaekahana beach houses, there are not many accommodation options in the nearby area. But there are plenty of options in Honolulu and Waikiki. We recommend, especially if staying in the north shore area, to make reservations SOON since this is a holiday weekend and accommodations will sell out.

Airfare/Flight Info - We have arranged for group fares to be available through Andrew Kan Travel in Petoskey, MI. Please contact if interested. Just mention the Jacobson Smith Wedding. The number is 1-800-748-0305.

Rental Cars - Here is a list of rental car agencies located at the Honolulu International Airport.

Directions to Wedding - The wedding will be held at 56-155 Kamehameha Highway. This is on the northeast shore of Oahu, just south of Turtle Bay Resort, and Kahuku. Please click for a map of Oahu, and a close up map of the Wedding site . And here for driving directions.

Schedule - We are planning to stay in the beachhouse at the wedding site from May 19 - May 29. You are more than welcome to come hang out with us, as we plan to spend this time with family and friends.
The wedding will take place at 5pm on the beach in front of the house. Dinner, dancing and laughter to follow. We are requesting Aloha attire (by this we mean casual, not necessairly an aloha print outfit)...shoes are optional. We will post more info on the schedule as we decide the schedule...

Registry - We are registered at the following locations:
