The purpose of the workshop will be to present aspects of tropical geometry of interest to number theorists and aspects of Berkovich spaces of interest to people doing tropical geometry, with an emphasis on some concrete connections between the two subjects. The lectures will hopefully be accessible to non-experts, including graduate students, but some background in number theory and algebraic geometry will be assumed.

Participation is by invitation only.
