• 1.4 -- Welcome to the class!
• 2.11 -- I found a cool web site called the Web Center for Social Research Methods that has a bunch of information relevant to applied statistics and our class. In particular, check out this description of statistical power (i.e., the quantity 1-β).
• 3.11 -- Here are the Sage worksheets I used in class today: Demo1 Demo2.
• 3.21 -- Solutions to the midterm exam.
• 4.22 -- A collection of (very basic) Sage functions for computing two-sample analysis test statistics and confidence intervals.
• 4.27 -- The Engineering Statistics Handbook published online by the National Institute of Standards and Technology. It contains a wealth of real-world best practices for statistical analysis.
• 4.29 -- A collection of (very basic) Sage functions for computing ANOVA tables and Tukey intervals. Also, here is a table of studentized range critical values that is more extensive than the one in the text.
• 5.3 -- The take home midterm is due at the start of the final exam period at 9:45am, Friday, May 10. Here are the LaTeX and PDF versions of the exam.
